FAQs

What is consignment?

Consignment is a service designed to help you sell your items with ease. We take the hard work out of selling your items. All you have to do is let us know the items you want to sell, and ship them to us. Once we’ve received your items, our team of professionals will photograph, and list your items for you on the platform of choice. Simply wait for your items to sell, and receive your payouts once the items have sold.

Who is providing the consignment services?

SCC Consignments has strategic partnerships with reputable auction platforms, such as Goldin, eBay, and Heritage Auctions, to ensure a trusted and seamless process for customers throughout the consignment journey. Located in the United States, Goldin and Heritage Auctions have vast experience in the consignment industry, and has a state-of-the-art warehouse and facility equipped to handle your consigned items from start to finish. Your items will be carefully handled and stored throughout the photographing and selling process.

What are the commission rates for consignment?
You may refer here  for our consignment rates.
What happens if I submit multiple items under one submission? Are the selling prices aggregated to qualify for a higher commission rate, or are the commission rates calculated on a per item basis?

Commission rates are calculated on a per item basis. If you submit multiple items under one submission, your commission for each item’s selling price will be individually calculated.

What items are eligible to be consigned?
We accept all items for consignment. Kindly arrange for a consultation with us to determine which platform is best suited for your submission.
Can I consign my items if I am shipping from outside Singapore?
Yes! Payouts for overseas consignors will be processed via telegraphic bank transfer in USD to your bank.
How long will the consignment process take?

Most items consigned with our overseas partners would conclude in 90 days or less. If you prefer a quicker turnaround, eBay would be best suited to meet this need - processing times would be shorter, as the eBay store is operated by SCC Consignments locally.
